Dang, I feel like the Grim Reaper today.

His version of Yesterday When I was Young has always broken my heart.

But my favorite song of his was his version of the Philadelphia Mummers string band standard Alabama Jubilee -- maybe because I have such a soft spot for that song in general.

I didn't realize how incredibly talented he was until I started looking in on some old stuff on YouTube -- wow! Roy, Glen Campbell, Buck Owens -- you know they got a hell of a band.
