We watched City of Ghosts, Matt Dillon movie set in Thailand, weird eclectic soundtrack wi5h French, Thai, etc songs in background. Gerard Depardieu musta had input.
So anyway, Ranger Jeff says today an Oddballs commercial has the same French guy doing the music.

He was right. Jacques Dutronc, a 60's guy, yada yada.
I am amazed and astounded that he recognized that. I didn't. After googling soundtrack and all...why yessiree.
