Seriously, all you right-wing, to put it more mildly than you behave, folks:
Senator Warren eats in public places. Right wing creeps have probably stolen her utensils & had them DNA-tested years ago. If that showed she had no Native DNA markers, they'd have broadcast that years ago.
When she said, in a Boston Globe article this summer (article said none of the places she's worked gave her points for Native ancestry) that "only tribes can decide who's a member" I figured she'd already had the DNA tests done herself.
Right wing creeps have probably stolen her utensils & had them DNA-tested years ago.
Really????

As I've stated many times before, I couldn't care less whether Warren was a full-blooded Indian Chief. It is her political views scare the hell out of me. The racial makeup of anyone is the last thing I look at when evaluating and judging a person. I judge a person by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. It is the left that seems to judge people and put them into buckets by their race.
I don't speak for the 'right wing'. I condemn all political violence whether it comes from the right or the left. And I believe the vast majority of the people on the right do so as well. The right has it's crazies, as does the left. But it looks to me that the democrat party has allowed it's crazies to take over it's party. I never even heard of the 'Proud Boys' until aSSShole mentioned them. They are a disgrace and should be treated exactly the same way as the antifa thugs. Are you willing to condemn antifa? Why haven't any of the left's political leaders condemned antifa and the thugs that cover their faces like terrorists? They seem to be enabling them.

Now that right there is funny. The Oval Office contains all the evidence anyone should need that the Republican Party has allowed its crazies to take over. And they're enabled by apologists who profess to find his conduct unacceptable but then accept it by primarying anyone who dares to criticize the Crazy-in-Chief.
Democrats routinely criticize political violence. You won't hear about it much because it's a "dog bites man" story. Or because you watch Fox News which probably wouldn't cover it. But do the searches and you'll find it. --Bob

If they had, at least they had the decency to let her and her family eat in peace (otherwise it would have been all over the media). At least they didn't behave in the Nazi-like manner that the left wing creeps behave when they see someone they don't agree with trying to have a meal with their family.

I missed Maxine Waters and Cory Booker condemning political violence.

BiT et al: "Nazi-like" manner is killing people you don't like. Which one of those demonstrators that Trump called "good people" did when he drove his car over a woman. Not disrupting their dinner by telling what they've done.

If you are going to cite an article, you might want to read it. The report estimates one ancestor was Native somewhere between 6 to 10 generations ago, and likely 8 generations ago.
So, Warren likely is 1/256th Native American. I am guessing that many Americans can say that there is some Native American somewhere in DNA . I myself have been intrigued.

I have no %age Native American DNA. Unless some NAs visited Ukraine & Poland, & married some Jews there.

And that corresponds with the story that Warren has always told about her family history, based on family genealogical records and anecdotes that had been passed down. She never attempted to use her status to gain preferential treatment at any time, which was the most frequently bandied about claim against her.
What's really at issue here is that Republicans took a family history anecdote, misrepresented that into an intentional lie to gain an employment advantage, demanded that Warren prove that her claim was true (like a certain former President of the United States whom Donald Trump accused for five years as being from Kenya), and then, when Warren does deliver the proof, try to pooh pooh it as a non-existent issue.
It shouldn't have been an issue but the Republicans made it one with some highly insulting ethnic slurs and now they try to walk it back.

But you were more than happy to brand her a deliberate liar. And I don't seem to recall the left referring to Warren as "Pocohantas."

I am so tired of that bullshit. You, and the media, know that trump was referring to the people who showed up to protest the removal of the Robert E Lee statue and to defend the removal of the statue. And there were innocent bystanders on both sides. or neither side. He was NOT referring to the scum who showed up. He has specifically and repeatedly condemned all white supremacists and KKK. There WERE good people there, on both the right and left. There were also the scum of the earth from both the right and left. That is the truth and has always been the truth. But the biased press keeps banging on it since it's such a good narrative for them.

I may have actually been trying to figure out "how many gens back" from whatever NPR morning program said. Or even WBUR-FM, the local station.

Well, let's refresh your memory a bit:

I just wish we had elected a President who could say what he means more eloquently and tactfully.
You like to portray trump as a liar. I will give you that. He is a serial liar. But he is not alone. Can you name even one of the politicians who sell themselves as a image, like Warren, who does not lie as much or more than he does? These people are not saints. They are not nobility. They are just people who for whatever reason want to have a position of power and prestige and mounted a campaign, created a public image and attracted enough voters and money to get themselves elected. Their election does not bestow upon them higher brain functions, or instill upon them a higher moral authority.
Warren lied about her ancestry to obtain a personal advantage. trump did not originate the nickname 'Pocohontas' but he uses it often to remind people of that. I am pretty certain that if she posted on this board, she would be a female version of bob-tel. Arrogant, self-righteous and self-serving. Based on the lambasting he gets for everything he says or does, I think Warren is getting off easy.
I understand that you may have a difficult time remembering all your incorrect statements. After a while, they just kind of blend together.

I officially apologize for writing that statement in the way I did. It was a mistake to phrase it in that way. I will never refer to Elizabeth Warren as 'Pocohontas' ever again, if I ever did so. It must have caused her great pain to have me call her that, if I ever did. I can empathize with her, as several people on this bored have labeled me or implied that I am a racist and a Jew hater by bringing in those hateful 'cards' in conversations where they had absolutely no place, and have yet to apologise for it. As for trump, I have no control over what he does. I wish I did. I could tell him a thing or two.

When the President of the United States, the de facto head of the Republican party, does so and no responsible Republicans take issue with that, then the party does assume responsibility.

I am usually very careful about phrasing things that I don't know as if they are fact. Unlike certain ethical lawyers. That one got away from me. And, unlike certain ethical lawyers and bigotted movie reviewers, I have owned up to my mistake.
Let other people argue about whether she is or isn't native american. I don't give a shit if she's a Puerto Rican from Mars. She's still an empty-headed, hate-filled windbag.
