Actress and comedienne who played Jodie Foster's mother in the original Freaky Friday and the fake psychic lead in Alfred Hitchcock's last film Family Plot. She was a very popular romantic comedy lead in the 60's and 70's but rarely seen in the last 30 years. Age 83.

Nominated for an Oscar for her role in 1971's "Who is Harry Kellerman and Why is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?". Had she won for this movie, I'm sure her name would be in the pantheon of Oscar trivia questions.
