on a Saturday morning when I stay in and bake a cake!

This one is relatively easy to make and my family loves it! They say it is better than the Tuxedo Cake I pay $27.00 at the gourmet food store.
It's amazing how easy and good the icing is. I avoid powdered sugar and the lumps and mess. This is simply Cool Whip and chocolate squares microwaved and poured over the cake. I leave the sliced almonds off the garnish as my family would just pick them off and not them them anyway.

Thank you for sharing. The next time I bake a cake I am going to try your cake. I usually bake for the nurses when Jeff has to do a night shift, but I might just make the cake for my family.

You're welcome! It's very easy. I am not one who bakes much at all, so it has to be really good for me to even think about baking it.
