Wedding Blog: BD**2, T minus 100 days and counting

I had been scrounging for something on-topic to post, and it arrived via UPS. The flatware I ordered from her Macy's registry came. The registry is wrong. The pattern she chose comes in regular (shiny) and satin finish. She wants satin. The registry has it listed in regular.
GW is trying to contact the original salesperson who created the registry, in the hopes that she can change it without letting BD know. Otherwise, we'll have to let on that we were the ones who lowered the count from 10 place settings to 7, and BD will have to get the registry corrected herself. The benefit is that she gets rewarded for Macy's purchases in the form of a Macy's gift card, and gets more points for registry purchases. So I can't just exchange them for the correct finish, because at the moment it's not officially on her registry.
The oddity is that the regular finish settings were NOT the ones on sale last week. It was specifically the satin finish in the ad. We still got the sale price, and no comment was made about the difference.
