Today's Darwin Award Winner

A man who had gotten out of his car to go to the bathroom and saw an injured bear at the side of the road went up to it to try to take a selfie with the bear. Apparently, the bear was a bit publicity shy, since it chased after the man and fatally mauled him. The man's companions recognized a good photo op when they saw it, since they decided to video the event rather than try to help him (although I wouldn't want to wade into a struggle involving a man and a full grown bear either).

Interesting that USA Today is reporting on a story from India last Wednesday.

The similarities to this famous incident are quite striking....

Except for the lack of Darwin Award eligibility. And pity that...

The Kardashians are in a low profile period so they needed something to fill enough pages to wrap this weekend's catch with.
