WWTBAM Bored

British crime novelist best known for a series of historical detective novels featuring Bernie Gunther, an investigator who worked in both pre- and post-World War II Germany. It's weird that one of his novels was shortlisted on Book Bub today and sounded interesting, so I looked him up and found he died just last week.

Age 62.
