5 wrong is a lonely place to be...

Especially when you erase two correct answers and make them incorrect.
Ouch!christie1111 wrote:Uh oh.
We usually think 25 right gets you an interview. Did you not get an interview with an AP?
I got 5 wrong and did not meet an AP. Being a gigantic WE, I have already signed up for another test (does anyone know if the questions are recycled?)MarleysGh0st wrote:Ouch!christie1111 wrote:Uh oh.

If that's what happened, you've got two great advantages, Lee.
1) You're a local, so you have lots more chances to take the written test, with no great inconvenience to yourself.
2) The APs have no prejudice against auditioners who fail the written and try, try again.
Dang! Well, part of the power of never revealing the passing score is the ability to tweak it up or down at any time.LoudmouthLee wrote:I got 5 wrong and did not meet an AP. Being a gigantic WE, I have already signed up for another test (does anyone know if the questions are recycled?)
I have jotted down 27 of the 30 questions from memory, and have my 5 wrong. So, with that being said, it is completely possible that I blew one more.slam wrote:Sorry about that Lee. At least with this test, particularly at this time of year, it's very easy to retake.
Yes, they do reuse tests.
As christie said above, around here we believe that 25 typicallly gets you an interview. I know you believe that you got 5 wrong, but I've had a reasonable amount of experience with these sorts of tests, and I've found that nearly everybody has a very difficult time accurately estimating their exact score. Without a copy of the test in front of you, it's very easy to forget one of the questions or misremember your actual response.
In any event, good luck the next time around. I'll be there on the the 13th myself.
It's very impressive that you could remember that many of the 30 questions. Maybe you did get 25 and they tweaked up the minimum passing score. As we said, we believe 25 is the passing score but no one here knows for sure.LoudmouthLee wrote:I have jotted down 27 of the 30 questions from memory, and have my 5 wrong. Eh, not so much anymore.
I'm not traveling to any audition not local again. My boringness and uber-MAWGness just don't need the dashed hope again.
Good luck to LL, however.
27??? Then you're far from middle age and still in the demographically desirable age group.LoudmouthLee wrote:I have no shot!

Come on, flybrick. Since the last time you auditioned, you've become a published author with expertise certified (or televised, anyway) by the History Channel. If I were an AP, I would consider that a highly desirable and contestant-worthy profession.Flybrick wrote:

This sounds like a sure-fire set of characteristics to me. All you need is to hear your name called after the test. So, next time....LoudmouthLee wrote:
