My friend Dan is apparently opening a used bookstore. Maybe it'll be on 13th street, but it's unclear to me.

Beware that the rest of his blog can get pretty vulgar.

I'll swing by when I'm up there the end of June. I once spent an entire Friday touring Denver's finest used bookstores, starting with the papeback place on Jewell over in Lakewood. I should do that again.

They misspelled ampersand.

I submitted an idea for the name of the store.

How about B.O.T.S (Back On The Shelf) Books.

I like that even better than ampersand.

I like reading new books. I like the smell of them and the feel of the paper. I would have so much more money if I bought used books.

At least Maddie is starting to read some of my old books, so I am amortizing the cost somewhat.

That works. Tell her to keep 'em, they'll be worth a ton on E-Bay someday.
