Nick Arrojo is going to feature his products on QVC tomorrow morning at 9AM Eastern. Might find something worth buying, although their tax and shipping and handling prevent me from buying stuff. It's on at the same time BAM is here and it's my day for transcripts. I would just like to watch, not buy.

I think you could probably get the same stuff from his own website for less, although they may be offering special stuff just for QVC.

I already checked out his website for my next NYC trip (currently set for Nov 19-23) however, a haircut by Nick is a cool $500!!

My friend is in NYC this week. She wanted a consultation by Carmindy for her makeup. She found out she only does consultations on Saturdays and it is $1000 for 30 minutes!!! I don't think she's that good. Plus you'd have to buy all the products.

Depends on where decimal points go.

I am not in a place where my decimal points go there for haircuts or makeup.

My BIL and SIL (who are not fashionistas in ANY sense of the word) came to visit us in NYC in 04 and booked haircuts at Nick's place. Over $350 each and SIL got her hair colored which was major extra $$.

They both looked much better afterward, truly. They went home and went back to their old styles. Neither liked what was done.

He's $500 now - inflation.

Nick's lackeys frequently work for free or cheap:

I admit, I'm thinking about it. I usually go to the Aveda chop shop, I mean training salon, but I really do like the show and I'm curious about Nick's salon.
