Actress best known for her debut film role as one of the Von Trapp children in The Sound of Music. She later appeared on numerous TV shows and was married to Robert Urich. After his death from cancer, she helped create a foundation for cancer research in his name. Ironically, she died of brain cancer that was recently diagnosed.

I just finished going through my DVD set for 'Logan's Run: The Series', a short-lived primetime venture that aired the year after the film version came out. It was watered down for its family-viewing timeslot and is mostly fluff, but Menzies was a standout highlight playing the Jenny Agutter role from the film with more spunk and a bit more to do than run around in a dress.

Now tending to goats in heaven who are no longer lonely. Greatly missed.
