helping make the new Bored feel like home

OK, Cal is going to do a QoD, the transcripts are here, so there's only one or two things missing to make this really feel comfortable.

1. Merry Men - I hope we'll have an MM parade at Thanksgiving, or a costume party for Halloween. It doesn't appear that it's too hard to register new identities (although moderators will probably be able to see through them).

2. Anyone want to tackle Lyrically Speaking?

3. I'm guessing that FNGD will be here this week.

4. And finally, now that we have a new home, maybe someone will be able to finally solve this problem:

33 g of s on p & d

Don't know if I can make it for Thanksgiving, but the costume party should be a go.

What has been suggested, but not universally accepted, is that this is the "formula" for making sea water out of fresh water. Add 33 grains of salt to (filter) paper and dissolve.

That's all anyone has come up with, but it just doesn't seem right to me.

I remember that and I don't want to accept it because the missing (filler) makes it bogus IMO. Not only that, but the original was "b]on[/b] p & d", not "to p & d."

etaoin came up with the best explanation for it, but I can't remember what it was. I seem to recall the p & d was something like paper & dilute or... I don't know...

I had also been considering doing a winter Lyrically Speaking run, but with TMOTTBG still on hiatus until I get all my players rounded up, and all this extra bookkeeping from the move, I'm not sure I'll be ready for my December rollout, but we shall see....
