I'm surprised no one has mentioned today's Roger Clemens news. In case you missed it, here's the original report in the NY Daily News. I guess his image was in the dumps anyway, but this doesn't help.

It doesn't sound good for Roger, but I'm immediately suspicious that the singer might be pathetically desperate for a comeback.

I'll tell you one dang thing: we will never give him up for ordering that WGH from our catalog.

That's gonna stay between him and us and y'all.

Dunno about RogerDodger, but Mindy has been a head case for a lotta years.....

I think the guy lied about the human growth hormones and at the same time, I am not buying this story.

He had a long-term relationship with the girl, but evidently (according to him, at least), a non-sexual one. If true I don't see why this would be an issue - except that as one article I read suggested, it goes to Clemens' credibility in other areas as well (read: claims of innocence regarding steroids).

There were rumors years ago about it.

Mindy McCready has confirmed the story to the Daily News.

I've never heard of this person. I must be an elitist.

The worst part of this, which the Press really hasn't dwelled on, is that she was 15 and he was 28 when the affair presumably started.

Supposedly according to all involved including those who dug up the story it didn't become a sexual thing until she was older and had begun to experience success in her career. Of course, his interest in a 15 year-old, whether anything physical was involved or not, is still questionable and disturbing.
