In 2017, his ex-wife, Kai Cole, published a sensational open letter about him on the movie blog The Wrap. She condemned him as a “hypocrite preaching feminist ideals” and accused him of cheating on her throughout their marriage, including with actresses on the set of Buffy.

CNN President Jeff Zucker Resigns Over Relationship With ‘Closest Colleague’

CNN President Jeff Zucker resigned from the cable news network Wednesday, admitting to a “consensual” relationship he had with a colleague that he said he failed to disclose.

In a statement sent to CNN staffers that was shared on Twitter by Brian Stelter, CNN’s chief media correspondent, Zucker said he did not disclose a relationship he had with his “closest colleague” that “evolved in recent years,” despite being “required” to do so.

In a new expose and documentary from Vanity Fair, two actresses accuse Jerry Lewis of fondling them and making sexual advances towards them when they worked with him on two 1960s movies. The actresses, Hope Holiday and Karen Sharpe, described separate incidents on the sets of two films. Sharpe was Lewis's romantic interest in "The Disorderly Orderly" in 1964 while Holiday had a smaller role in the 1961 film, "The Ladies Man."

Texas grand jury declines to charge NFL QB Deshaun Watson

A Harris County grand jury has declined to charge Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson over allegations of harassment and sexual misconduct.

Harris County division chief of adult sex crimes and trafficking Johna Stallings said after court they presented nine criminal complaints but the grand jury chose not to indict the NFL star. Prosecutors presented evidence and interviewed witnesses for more than six hours.
"We respect the grand jury's decision," she said, adding it concludes the criminal proceedings in Harris County.
Watson told reporters outside his attorneys' office that justice was served.

Cuba Gooding Jr. has pled guilty to forcibly kissing a worker at a New York City night club in 2018. Gooding had been charged originally with accosting two other women in 2018 and 2019 but pled guilty on only one charge as part of a plea deal. He apologized to the women in court. Under the terms of the deal, Gooding must continue alcohol and behavior modification for six months. If he does, he can withdraw this guilty plea and plead guilty to the lesser charge of harassment and avoid any jail time.

In addition to the criminal cases, Gooding was charged in a civil case with raping a woman in 2013. A default judgment was entered against him last year, but he has since retained an attorney and is fighting the case.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer, the 2020 NL Cy Young Award winner, has been placed on seven-day administrative leave by MLB following allegations of sexual assault filed by a woman who obtained a restraining order against him. The woman alleges that Bauer choked her using her hair until she was unconscious and then assaulted her. The alleged assaults occurred on two different occasions in April and May at Bauer's house. Bauer did not appear at the hearing where the restraining order was issued but denies the charges. The woman suffered extensive facial bruising after the encounters. Bauer admits the couple had sex but claims that she wanted him to get rough with her.

Bauer has now been suspended for two season by MLB for various sexual abuse incidents. He did not pitch again after June 29 of last year when I posted the original comment about him but was paid his entire salary for the 2021 season. He continued to be paid until yesterday, when the suspension was announced. Bauer is making about $30 million a season and will appeal the suspension.

Fred Savage fired as 'Wonder Years' director, producer after misconduct investigation

Fred Savage has been removed as director and executive producer of "The Wonder Years" following an investigation into his alleged inappropriate conduct.

A spokesman for 20th Television confirmed the news in a statement provided to USA TODAY Friday.

"Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched," reads the statement. "Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years."

Disney is severing ties with Fred Savage following multiple complaints of misconduct in his role as executive producer and director on the freshman ABC comedy series The Wonder Years, produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios. The allegations were investigated, leading to Savage’s dismissal.

The Wonder Years, a reboot of the beloved 1988 series, which starred Savage, has not been renewed for a second season yet but remains in contention.

“Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched. Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years,” a spokesman for 20th Television said in a statement to Deadline, declining further comment.

Jeff Cooper, 66, a prominent Los Angeles architect who has designed a number of theaters and studio buildings for Hollywood producers and directors including George Lucas and Martin Scorsese, was convicted by a Los Angeles jury on three counts of child molestation arising from incidents occurring in 2006 and 2007 with a girl who was 12 and 13 at the time. The jury was unable to reach a verdict and a mistrial declared on five other counts involving a second victim, which occurred between 2012 and 2016. That girl was seven years old at the time of the first incident. Cooper faces a maximum sentence of 12 years on the three counts on which he was convicted. He's been a member of the Motion Picture Academy since 2002, but the Academy is reviewing his status currently.
