Do any of you watch the NFL draft?

The NFL draft kicks off today (very shortly). I had a guy that works at my school ask if I was planning to watch. We both do fantasy football and that is a frequent topic of our conversation in the fall. Apparantly, several of the people in his main money league are getting together today to have a draft watching party.
I'll probably check in on the broadcast from time to time to see who took who but as much as the draft just drags on and on, I can't see watching it straight thru.
Anyone here watch the draft?

I have it on now, but I will probably lose interest quickly.

I'm watching, whether I want to or not.
Now that the Panthers are done for the day, I have less interest.

We watched for a bit.
Our neighbor was over just at the point where the Eagles traded their first-round draft choice to Carolina.
We then discussed how the Eagles are now the #4 pro sports team in town behind the Phillies, Flyers & Sixers.
But, Andy Reid's a genius. Just ask him.

The consensus here on that trade of next year's first-rounder was:
if the Panthers do well, the pick will be low, and not worth crying about losing. If the Panthers suck and the pick is high, Coach Fox and GM Hurney will be gone anyway, so what do they care?

Entertainment for The Fern as far as I'm concerned.
I actually watched the MLB draft when they showed it on ESPN last year... but only because it happened to air on a Thursday when I'm up during the day. I love baseball, and it pretty much put me to sleep because I didn't know any of the players.... That's why I loved the two expansion drafts in the 90's.
I have a new idea for Larry Bud Selig.... hold a draft each offseason to allow each team to raid the pantries of the other teams and put it on ESPN. I'd even stay up on a Saturday to watch that....

I watched through pick #22. Felix Jones is one of "my" kids, and we're delighted to see him go to Dallas.

I didn't even know it was televised.
If I had a horse in the race, I am sure I would watch.

It was still on this morning. How long does this go on anyway? I even heard the time to make your choice was less this year. Good grief, I can't imagine how long it took before they shortened it.

I had lots of horses in this race and I wish them and their teams the best of luck in the future.

Is that a tattoo on that evil squirrel's right arm (or leg, I suppose)?

It was 14 hours and some change this year, much better than before.
Tons and tons of Trojans, to be sure. Ten, I think. Remarkable. I wonder what is the record but don't have time to look.

This would be a funny quote as a non-sequitur.

I bet that hurts.
