RIP Jerry Pournelle

I met him when the Writers Club invited him to speak to us at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. "Lucifer's Hammer" (co-authored with SF great Larry Niven) terrified me since it was so damned plausible.

This makes me sad. His collaborations with Larry Niven seemed to me an excellent example of synergy. --Bob

Yes, the Niven-Pournelle novels are among my favorites.

I used to follow his Chaos Manor blog, but fell out of doing so in the past few years. Did he keep writing that, up to the end? tmitsss, I think you were another loyal reader.

Yes, the Niven-Pournelle novels are among my favorites.
