The Washington Post is reporting that the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid of Paul Manafort's home, shortly after he was interviewed by a Congressional committee. --Bob
I'm confused. Is this part of the witch hunt or the fishing expedition?Bob78164 wrote:The Washington Post is reporting that the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid of Paul Manafort's home, shortly after he was interviewed by a Congressional committee. --Bob

This happened two weeks ago. 14 days ago. You, and the WP, are making it sound like Breaking News!!!!!!!Bob78164 wrote:The Washington Post is reporting that the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid of Paul Manafort's home, shortly after he was interviewed by a Congressional committee. --Bob
It's breaking news because it hadn't been publicly known until now. But it's obviously important that Donny's former campaign manager was raided by the FBI. I'll await further developments.BackInTex wrote:This happened two weeks ago. 14 days ago. It is not. But Russia was not on top of the headlines, North Korea was. So the WP had to do something.
This was a no-knock warrant, meaning they had to show the judge there was reason to believe Manafort might destroy the evidence if given half a chance (as often happens with raids on drug dealers). Mueller is obviously keeping his cards close to the vest, unlike the sieve that's the Trump administration.BackInTex wrote:This happened two weeks ago. 14 days ago.
