The Walt Disney Company has acquired a majority share of BAMTech (formerly part of Major League Baseball Advanced Media), and announced that BAMTech will live-stream many ESPN programs. The Mouse has also ended its movie-streaming contract with Netflix. Industry observers believe future Disney movies will be distributed by BAMTech instead of Netflix.
