I am Getting Way, Way Too Old for This

Today, I mentioned the new Netflix series Ozark with Jason Bateman to a co-worker, and I described it as a cross between Breaking Bad and Green Acres. He had a completely befuddled look on his face and said, "What's Green Acres?" BTW, he's a big TV fan, but of series of a far, far more recent vintage.

I had to explain Rooster Cogburn today to our carpet restoration guy. We had a gusher blah blah, but I said , yeah Jeff's great great grandfather was the actual TJ, etc. True Grit, John Wayne ???
Oh. Yeahhh. Cool...with a blank look.

Nothing you two say sounds bothersome to me. I was God's babysitter and, after that, I had to teach that little Moses kid how to count to ten.
