Inquiring minds want to know.
Plus if we say so ahead of time, people might just show up!

Because I could not find anyone to drive in from Tulsa to take me to an outstanding music concert tonight, I will be around -- for FNGD or chat, whichever seems to be practical.
Unless Annie and Lizbit tackle me and sit on me until I black out, thus providing the proximate cause for a long nap. They'd better wait until after dinner, though, if they're smart.

It's improv comedy, like
Whose Line Is It Anyway.

In addition to taking drama classes and doing plays, Maddie has been doing Comedy Sportz.
There is something at Maddie's school called Thespians, it's an Acting Honor Society. Students can only become a Thespian by earning enough acting, miscellaneous and technical points. No Freshmen girls have ever made Thespians, mostly because it's easier for guys to get parts in shows their Freshman year, but Maddie is on track to do it. She has all of her acting and miscellaneous points, she just needs two more technical points by the end of the year.
(I edited my posts to correct spelling. Apparnetly it's Comedy Sportz, with a Z.)

The sports comedy sounds like fun!
Good luck to Maddie on making the club. I'm sure she will have no trouble qualifying. I don't know how she fits everything in, but she does and does it well.

I was in the Thespian Society in high school. I probably still am, as I think it's a lifetime thing. I still have my membership card. I was V.P. of our high school's chapter. Which, as is the case with most V.P.'s, means I basically didn't do very much.
I shall be thrilled to welcome her to our illustrious ranks!!

Y'know, I bet we could put on one hell of a show with just our bored buddies and family members!
I'll pass on the choreographed numbers, though

We will leave the choreography to SC.

If we do "Rear Window", I got dibs on the lead role.
Or I could play Dr. Scott in "Rocky Horror".. But I don't even wanna think about who would play Frank N. Furter...

Maddie keeps asking her drama teacher to do Rocky Horror. She really wants to play Magenta because she's got the hair for it.

I wish to report sadly that they did it. After their dinner, they crept up behind me and threw me to the couch with a choke hold, keeping me comatose until all the good television and Friday night games were long over. I would still be sleeping, but they revived me when they wanted a post-midnight snack and a trip out to the back yard.
Now, in the middle of the night, both dogs are sound asleep and I'm wide-awake.
Cats make excellent pets.

I would like to see a program called Cats With Jobs.
I have a job. When Izzy and FooFoo dig burrows in the back yard and won't let my sister Maddie take them into the house, my Mom send me outside to flush them out.
I hunt them down, nibble on their ears, then they run out of their holes. I have the most fun when they start running away, I like to chase them until they are tired. Usually that's the time that they realize that it's not so bad for my sister to pick them up and put them in their comfy cage so they can drink their bottled water and eat their organic produce.
