It would be one thing if those who have lost any concept of minimally civil language about coworkers, actually have some sort of moral high road, blasting away with righteous feistiness, with no Machiavellian designs.

That is not the case with anyone anywhere politically now. Civility masks venality, potty mouths are just that, it's all sound and fury.
