You're right, there's nothing to see here other than the fact that one aide to one Democratic Congresswoman apparently is a crook.

Right wing sites have been going nuts the past few days trying to tie him into every possible scandal imaginable without any success without any semblance of evidence. And I've yet to see exactly how the Democrats would have benefitted by hiring this guy or anyone to hack into their own e-mails and leak the information to Wikileaks to use in the campaign.

This guy lied on a loan application about his house to get a loan they didn't deserve. Is there any reason to believe that Representative Wasserman Schultz was in some way complicit in this theft? I didn't think so. That's why there's nothing to see here.

Donny is being investigated because it's (I'll be gentle) a challenge to credulity to believe that so much activity was occurring between top campaign advisors and surrogates and Russia without Donny being aware of it. But the investigation is continuing because there is, as of yet, insufficient proof that he personally knew.

Someone will eventually crack in exchange for a reduced sentence. And when that happens, if Republicans still control Congress, they'll have yet another opportunity to choose country over party. Given what I've seen so far, I'm not optimistic, but hope springs eternal. --Bob

I doubt that Robert Mueller is going to move the minute he thinks he has "sufficient" proof of Trump's complicity. In most investigations like this, unless there's an overwhelming need to make a quick arrest, they gather as much information as they can to come up with an overwhelming case.
