Thanks for the birthday wishes! It was a good day, for sure...certainly one of the most relaxing birthdays I've had in recent memory.
And I got a new kick-ass rice cooker out of the deal, so my kitchen is happy.

A lot! In fact I have been doing everything I can think of, short of some voodoo incantation, to convince it to come out. Officially we have 2 weeks left to cook, but we are getting anxious to meet the little bugger!

I think George Clooney's birthday is in early May, so you have something to shoot for. Or you can honor KT and wait another week.
My mom's birthday was the 7th, so we always ended up combining Mother's Day with her birthday. She was like me so she didn't care one bit.
