Swedish actor who starred in the original version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Daniel Craig played his role in the American remake). He later took the Christoph Waltz route playing villains in high profile American films like John Wick and one of the Mission Impossible movies.

He also played the protagonist in the Swedish film As It Is In Heaven, a good film to look up if you like foreign movies if only for the singing of the great Swedish singer Helen Sjoholm. Look up some of the snippets of it on You Tube. It's one of the few foreign-language films I own.
