Auburn's flying mascot, Nova, aka War Eagle VII, has been sidelined due to heart issues. He won't fly into the stadium pre-game as he has done the past decade or so.

Nova, a golden eagle, will be replaced by Spirit, a bald eagle, for the 2017 season.

That flight around the stadium is an impressive thing to see first hand, even for us visiting fans.
