A fav of mine, who I saw do many "Live at Passim" shows in the day. It was a radio show broadcast from a local club which I won tickets to many times. (I also occasionally paid to get in. Saw Steve Goodman there. Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee.) My mom when I was a child bought us 3 albums from a cutout bin, as she knew we liked folk music; 2 were insignificant, but Rosalie was the 3rd.

A lot of people performing at the Mystic Seaport Festival last week spoke of Rosalie Sorrel's passing & how they knew her.

I hadn't listened to her music for tens of years. I've been listening to her since I first posted.
