Pres. Carter is either going senile or is terminally naive

Yeah, an ex-US president meeting with known terrorists doesn't lend them propaganda legitimacy and credence. Their statements and policies haven't changed since they came into existence. Apparently Jimmah doesn't want to see the state of Israel on his world maps, either.
Oh, and that election that voted them into power? Likely the last legitimate election there that will be allowed to stand.

I have strongly defended Jimmy in the past, but this is just sad. Jimmy does believe in miracles, but this wasn't gonna be one.

On a local radio show today, I heard Jimmy Carter referred to as the type of person "Lenin called a 'well-meaning idiot'".
That is definitely what he is in this case.
I don't doubt his humanity and caring. I DO doubt his sense.
And Hamas, of course, came out and contradicted what Carter. Carter declared that Hamas said it was ready to negotiate with and recognize Israel. Hamas then issued a statement saying it would never recognize Israel.
PS Carter also has this weakness where, in any case of conflict, will always, WITHOUT FAIL, take the side of the "weaker" party.
So if Hamas kills and blow up people, he'll STILL take their side because Israel has tanks and guns, and Hamas doesn't.

Of course the millions in Arab money to finance the Carter Center and the Jimmy Carter Library have nothing to do with it.
