Yep, it's still there. I'm having some landscaping done in my back yard. It's quite a bit of work and includes two brick paver sidewalks, one going from the pool to the gate leading out and one just to make it look nice.

Spent quite a bit of time choosing which style and color paver would look best. They started on the walks Tuesday. I didn't go out to look at the progress until they left that afternoon.

They used the wrong pavers! Right shape, wrong color. They spent all day yesterday removing them. It will probably back up the progress by a week. I guess I'm going to have to supervise more closely.

Hopefully you won't have to pay for their mistake.

They should have asked you to look at the pavers before they started installing them.

I am happy to hear that they did not try and blame you. That is the sign of a good company. Mistakes get made, procedures to catch mistakes sometimes don't happen or worse yet are never put in place.

I am glad they are fixing the problem without much hassle.

I have a copy of my signed contract which specifies the materials to be used. Someone ordered the wrong thing.
I am already paying $1500 extra for them to keep any heavy equipment off the jobsite. Having them do all the digging by hand costs more but I won't have to worry about them tearing up the pary of the yard not being worked on or maybe the concrete around the pool;
