Chris Soules (also a former 'Bachelor' from Fall 2014) was arrested for failing to remain at the scene of a very unfortunate car accident, sources including Game Show Kingdom are reporting.
Soules was a contestant during a 'Bachelor' theme week back in February, winning $5,000. He made it through the first five questions before tripping up on the first free-guess question (worth $7K), a cooking question about cilantro and coriander (and curses!).
GSK is speculating that his episode from February 6th may be bumped from the upcoming summer rerun season if he gets charged.

His retainer will be a lot more than $5000.

Article about the crash
Soules, who also appeared in “Dancing with the Stars” and “Worst Chefs in America,” called 911 at 8:20 p.m. Monday evening to report that he had rear-ended a tractor on a rural road north of the tiny town of Aurora, about six miles away from his home.
Soules left the crash site after emergency responders arrived, but before deputies with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene, according to authorities. Iowa State Patrol Sgt. Scott Bright told the Des Moines Register that Soules fled the scene on foot and later got into a truck. In police audio obtained by local media, a deputy told a dispatcher that Soules “took off” in a red truck.

This could qualify him for "dumb criminal of the week". You don't run away from the scene of an accident
after you call 911 to tell them you caused an accident and where you caused an accident.

Those APs apparently don't vet their contestants well enough. I've auditioned a couple of times and almost made the phone game. I have never been arrested. AP's: Call me....

Meh. He's just a Bachelor celebrity.
At least tell me he had to pass the written test, before calling him a WWTBAM contestant.
