Seriously; they have all that $$ , why not install decent speakers at the Twin City Plaza here in Somerville/Cambridge? They have a sound track I actually like right now, but the speakers are so tinny it all sounds bad.

My order is always a decaf & a plain biscuit with butter on the side.

About the only things I can tolerate there besides the fries, which I'm not supposed to be eating. I'm not supposed to be eating the biscuit either, but sometimes I just don't have time to make my own, which I'm not supposed to be doing either. I usually bring my own marmalade, though their Concord grape jelly isn't bad.

When I'm trapped on a highway at a rest plaza, the salad with grilled chicken on it is actually decent, & cheaper than at a salad place (which it turns out McDonalds owns) in the same rest area. They don't offer the salads at Twin City Plaza, I don't think.

I know you didn't mean it this way, but the above sounds like your typical post-apocalyptic The-U.S.-Was-Nuked-Three-Weeks-Ago kind of visit to Mickey D's.

I believe ghost was complimenting the McDonalds muzak, not complaining about their drive thru speaker....

The Jack in the Box muzak stream is the best one I've heard just about anywhere, but the employees usually turn it off so they can play their own garbage in the back...

I am strictly eat-in or takeout. I don't do drivethrough. Never even thought of it. If there is food passed into a car through a window, it would get spilled on me. (If I am wearing an apron at home, inevitably the food falls on the unprotected places.)

I was talking about the music inside the restaurant.

Oh! I hardly ever go into a McDonald's. I do the drive through when I go there and I go there more often than I care to admit. When I have gone in I've never paid attention to anything playing over the speakers. In fact, I would have lost a bet on whether they had music playing or not. Maybe they don't down here. I'll have to pay attention the next time I do go in.
