On February 27th, 1922, the Supreme Court declared the 19th Amendment constitutional, thereby granting women the right to vote.

I find it strange that there was that kind of suit, although (a) some folks don't give up easily, and (b) as I recently learned, there was a lot of weirdness ca. 1920 (e.g., that there was no reapportionment following the 1920 census; there were several reasons given by TPTB, but in retrospect it was primarily designed to keep more representatives among rural voters than urban ones, primarily to make sure that Prohibition wouldn't be repealed -- or at least having the Volstead Act neutered.)
