Oscar Picks 2017

With 2 hours left until the 89th Oscars commence, I think ya'll have waited long enough to see my final selections on the eight major categories. I'm still looking for that elusive 8-for-8, so let's see how I do this year. I will repost these picks to my Facebook page for posterity.
Best Adapted Screenplay -- Tough choice between Fences and Hidden Figures. I'd give my vote to Hidden Figures.
Best Original Screenplay -- As has been said many times over, Hollywood loves to throw awards at films about Hollywood. La La Land will probably win it, even though I have no interest in ever actually seeing it. This film falls under the Jeopardy! category of "Things that are not for me".
Best Director -- La La Land
Best Supporting Actor -- With Mahershala Ali winning the SAG Award, he will be holding the Academy Award tonight.
Best Supporting Actress -- My opinion from several weeks ago hasn't changed. Viola Davis is the lock of the year.
Best Actor -- My opinion on this one has changed, though. I did originally have Ryan Gosling as the winner, but Denzel Washington's win at the SAG Awards threw this one wide open. Casey Affleck may be the slight favorite, but I'll throw my vote to Denzel and see what happens.
Best Actress -- I'll stick with Emma Stone here.
Best Picture -- Officially, do I go with what will win or what should win? La La Land probably will win, but Hidden Figures should win. I may regret this, but I'm risking my shot at a perfect score on Hidden Figures.
