"Fundamentalist Trumpians"-A Literal Interpretation of Trump

There was a meme going around after the election that:
"Trump's opponents took him literally, but not seriously and his supporters took him seriously, but not literally."
I think there is something to that and it was probably never more on display than in the recent "Last Night-Sweden" kerfuffle.
As Bob#'s said>>>"BS. He meant it literally. It was just fact-free. Again. "
It might be kind of fun to think of Bob#'s and other such Trump opponents as "Fundamentalist Trumpians."

Bob has vowed to oppose anything and everything he does or does not do. If Trump had a cure for cancer, Bob# would oppose it. He is sticking to his 'principles'.

Just as the Republicans did with Obama.

I call those supporters "Trumpsplainers" myself.
I do not believe I have ever seen a President in my life where so many times I had to be told by someone "what Trump really meant to say".

On my drive to Chicago at the end of October, I was eating at the bar of a Ruby Tuesday. There was a couple eating there too with whom I had a cordial discussion. Somehow the subject of Trump came up and the woman said they were strong supporters of him. I replied, "You say you're a clinical psychiatrist; what are the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder?" She snapped back, "Oh! He doesn't have that!" End of discussion.

He's a narcissist.
He doesn't have a personality disorder.
It impugns those who suffer from such disorders to say he has one.
And my guess is, these people were more qualified to say whether he did suffer from such a disorder than you, Bob.
Supporting Trump doesn't automatically mean their degrees were invalid.
I don't like Trump, but I detest armchair idiots more.

Many, many, doctors who are very qualified have said he has narcissistic personality disorder.

This guy disagrees. He, above all, would know.

He says Trump is evil, not crazy.
Here are the criteria. Which do not fit Trump?
DMV criteria for narcissistic personality disorder are:
Exaggerated sense of self-importance.
Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it.
Exaggerating your achievements and talents.
Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.
Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people.
Requiring constant admiration.
Having a sense of entitlement.
Expecting special favours and unquestioning compliance with your expectations.
Taking advantage of others to get what you want.
Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.
Being envious of others and believing others envy you.
Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner.

Those criteria apply as much to you as they do to Trump.
Regarding Trump, you skipped right past the part where the guy who defined NPD said:
"Having traits doesn't mean you have a disorder. Having a personality doesn't mean that you have a mental illness. It also has to cause considerable, clinically significant distress and impairment," he said.

I say Trump has considerable, clinically significant distress and impairment.

Juch:

LOL, now that's just precious. I'd say the distress and impairment evidenced just on this little corner of cyberspace alone by the hysterics who failed to consider he might win the presidency is far and away greater than any the president is experiencing.

That's not what the White House staff is saying. Trump has gone to Mar-a-Lago the last three weekends and is going again today. He can't handle the job.

Bob...did you work hard to become this much of an idiot, or did it come naturally for you?
