I had no idea either, and that's what I called Bigfoot and Yeti for years.

When I was a little kid, my parents took my brother and me to see the Ice Capades in Denver (a mere 7-hour drive from home in each direction.) Frick and Frack were among the featured acts. So it was the second or third or fourth Frack. I didn't know the difference.
Anyway, I thought all the women skaters were the most beautiful people I'd ever seen, although I cannot remember a single name of any of them, and I thought Frick and Frack were the funniest. I have never forgotten their names. I've also never forgotten what probably was the first time I ever laughed so hard that I could barely breathe. In retrospect, I recognize that they could perform physical feats on skates that still seem impossible.
Here's to Frick. He was great.

Wasn't this a question on BAM not too long ago?
