Here I come unfashionably late again. With just three LSWE games left to go in the season, you're probably wondering why there hasn't been any matching games yet. Matching games are so much fun, I'm pretending you're saying to yourself right now. Well, here you go! It's pretty lame.... as in the matching theme isn't really that hard if you can get enough of the songs. But it'll do in a pinch. There is an "alternate" match that can be made in this game that won't count because it would keep all 12 songs from properly being matched up..... and because I said it won't count, and there's no arguing with that....
1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist, 1 point for each correct match...
1. Tougher than diamonds, rich like cream
Stronger and harder than a bad girl's dream
Make a bad one good, make a wrong one right
2. I felt a rush like a rolling bolt of thunder
Spinning my head around
And taking my body under
3. Well, I`ll tell you one thing
If you would leave It be a crying shame
In every breath and every word
I hear your name, calling me out
4. Ain't no use in complaining
When you got a job to do
Spent my evenings down at the drive-in
And that's when I met you, yeah
5. Debbie just hit the wall
She never had it all
One Prozac a day
Husband's a CPA
6. If the button is pushed
There's no running away
There'll be no one to save
With the world in a grave
Take a look around you, boy
It's bound to scare you, boy
7. Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who'd have believed
You'd come along
8. The sky was all purple
There were people running everywhere
Trying to run from the destruction
You know I didn't even care
9. I was a car hop
You were into be-bop
You sang do wop
Diddy wop diddy wop doo
10. I said watch what you say
They`ll be calling you a radical
A liberal
A fanatical criminal
11. She's ported and relieved
And she's stroked and bored
She'll do a hundred and forty
In the top end floored
12. And I don't even care to shake these zipper blues
And we don't know just where our bones will rest
To dust I guess
Forgotten and absorbed into the earth below
