Jeemie would say its because I have publicly bad-mouthed its bad camera. Well its needs-lots-of-light, & even then gives a pic that looks like bad videotape camera.

I didn't drop it (well, I did once about 6 months ago) or smack it, ever. Its usually very well cushioned inside my backpack & held inside an insulating bag, but its not one of those specially-cushioned carry-cases. I guess I get one of those now.

Obviously, I can still use it. This must be, from my internet reading, one of those models where the touch-sensitivity layer is not bonded to the screen in such a way that the crack disables it.

Just remember the trouble that Moses got into when he cracked his tablets.
