Jackie Fox on The Chase
GSN has been airing re-runs of The Chase each day for a little while. According to the schedule on Zap2It.COM, tomorrow's (Friday's) episode will be the re-run of the 4th episode (8/20/2013) which included Jackie Fox (BB: bassplayingsugarplum/former bass player in The Runaways/Uly's trivia partner). If interested, check your local listings. It airs in SoCal at 1:00 PM.
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

BTW, she and Uly aren't necessarily partners, they're opponents at O'Brians and only play together at TCONAs.

I still lurk here once in a while.
I will let Jackie know about her re-appearance on the Chase...in fact we met at the Chase auditions and I invited her to play pub trivia with me and whatever team I might be on.
We just spent the last few months playing together qualifying for the King Trivia Championships...we coulda/shoulda/woulda won but came in second to a team which included former Jeopardy! greats Brad Rutter, Pam Mueller and Jerome Vered et al. In fact she was our team captain.
Members of that same team generally play together on Wednesdays at the O'Briens on Main/Wilshire.
I play with a different team (Lee) on Monday nights and we recently came in third at the Dreambuilders last city championships.
Now I'm heading back to the Facebook universe.
Oh, and a couple of other tidbits about Jackie. Besides being a former member of the Runaways (Joan Jett and Lita Ford)...she graduated with honors in linguistics from UCLA and Harvard Law where she can count Barrack Obama and Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch as classmates.

It turns out today's episode was not hers. There is conflicting information on the web about her air date. Most sources said she appeared in the 4th episode, aired on 8/20/2013, which ran today with a description of, "The youngest competitor of the season." This description doesn't necessarily preclude Jackie being part of the team. When I viewed the episode, I saw that she wasn't there. I went back to the guide and found this:

Jackie told me today she doesn't want to rewatch her episode; she had a stomach bug and was in distress while taping.
