Trump Loses Battle in War on Terror

It looks like the war on terror that Donald Trump has declared his top priority has suffered a setback. By this, I mean the war against real terrorists and not suspected boogeymen who might be disguising themselves as five-year-old Syrian refugees.

In the wake of the recent botched raid in Yemen (the one Trump slept through), the government in Yemen has withdrawn permission for the U.S. to run Special Forces ground missions against suspected terrorists in the country. That raid cost the life of a Navy SEAL and 23 civilians, including an eight-year-old girl, not to mention the loss of a multi-million dollar aircraft, while the intended target was sending out anti-US tweets the next day.

Needless to say, if Hillary Clinton had launched a similar raid in the first week of her Presidency, we'd be seeing Congressional inquiries from now till doomsday. But so far from Ryan and McConnell, not a peep (John McCain has criticized the raid).

Further needless to say, the fewer countries willing to cooperate with us, the more difficult it will be to conduct effective operations against the terrorists.

That raid cost the life of a Navy SEAL and 23 civilians, including an eight-year-old girl.

The girl is the daughter of dead terrorist Anwar Al-Awlaki, so she's half American. Trump has received only mild criticism for killing an innocent American.

But remember what I said in January: the previous administration get blamed for anything that goes wrong in the first few months.

Yep, one of the Ospreys which, in my opinion, is one of the biggest piece of $@#% aircraft built in the last 50 years, and put the over in cost overruns, even by military standards.
