Mass shootings have become frequent enough in the United States that far too many of us have become jaded to them. In Canada, not so much. But over the weekend, some bigot acted out his bigotry by opening fire at a Quebec mosque, killing at least 6 people, with others seriously wounded.

The dead and injured practiced (or practice) Islam. The terrorist, who has been arrested, was apparently motivated by Islamophobia. My government has not seen fit to extend our nation's condolences to the dead and injured and their families, so I will take it upon myself to do so. I hope all Americans join me. In this, as in so many other things, the White House does not (with its silence) speak for America. --Bob

Fortunately you don't speak for us either.

You should at least abide by the Mosque's wishes.

The mosque urged the public to not jump to conclusions or spread unsubstantiated rumors.
"Please wait for preliminary result (of the investigation) before circulating rumors," the Quebec Islamic Cultural Center said on Facebook. "The situation is very critical."

And you should have your facts straight. Oh wait, you have a different definition of facts than I do.

Really? Here's what Press Secretary Spicer had to say about it. Remember, the attacker was Canadian, not an immigrant. For those who care, he does not appear to have been of Middle Eastern descent.
