I really enjoyed watching him on Crossing Jordan. --Bob

Re: RIP Miguel Ferrer
This season on NCIS Los Angeles, his character was shown undergoing treatment for some unspecified disease, and the actor missed a couple of episodes and frankly looked bad when he was onscreen. I thought they were just doing this as part of the storyline, but now I guess they were laying the groundwork to write him out of the show.

Like sss, I thought it was part of the plot. I wondered why they'd want to write out, even temporarily, a character who was hired to take some of the load off of Linda Hunt (who had threatened retirement), but "who knows" w/ screenwriters.
This is so sad.

My best memory of Miguel Ferrer is the role of Albert Rosenfeld on Twin Peaks
Watching him in the upcoming revival of Twin Peaks will be bittersweet.
