Since Donald Trump has been busy patting himself on the back for every decision companies have announced since the election that may create or keep some jobs in the US (even though all those decisions had been made prior to the election), it follows that he's to blame for this.

Traditionally, the outgoing president gets blamed for problems up to a year after the election (Clinton for the terror attack, Bush for the recession). But the new president, especially if he's in the other party, takes credit for anything good.

The current one blamed the prior one for things well beyond 1 year, or even 1 term.

I am sure that he will be blamed for everything bad that hasn't already been blamed on Bush. That will be the democrat platform.

Trump is like a one-way ratchet: Anything bad is going to be caused by anyone but him while anything good will only have happened due to his god-like abilities. Since even a blind dog finds a bone now and then, I'm sure we will hear of all the good news.
