Netiquette
I have unfriended a total of two people in the years I have been on Facebook. I don't unfriend people for holding positions I think are ignorant, stupid, or wrong. I don't unfriend people for cussing or otherwise behaving in a manner I would prefer not to see. But I do ban people for violating netiquette. I just ran across a post from someone on this Bored who committed such an egregious violation of my standards of netiquette that I immediately unfriended him. Unbelievable.

After thinking about it, long and hard...same.
I now equal you in that category.

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Re: Netiquette
I don't know what "netiquette" is, so I'm not sure what you're "allowed" to say. But, surprisingly to some, I don't send out political posts on Twitter or Facebook. The only things I send out are posts regarding my website and film and book reviews, etc.
Other people's political posts (left or right) don't bother me, although I have more of an appreciation for those who take the time to provide their own thoughts rather than merely linking to sensationalist third party sources ("You won't believe what Donald Trump just said..."). The one thing that really annoys me are the incessant third party click bait tweet bombs (that are usually retweets) of things like "the parents came home early and you won't believe what the baby sitter was doing." Get that one 20 times a day and you'll go up a wall. Those people I unfollow on Twitter (I usually only followed them in the first place because they followed me).
