Last album for the week. At this time next week you'll know my favorite album of all time. What will it be? What is in my Top 5? You'll find out in 7 days.
Place your bets now.
6. AJA-STEELY DAN (1977)
The expert musicianship, the impeccably recorded sound, the superbly crafted songs...a real pleasure to listen to every time. Becker
and Fagen are well known for being perfectionists...and thank goodness for that.

Can't argue with this one. One of my favorites, too.
Black Cow is probably my 2nd favorite SD song, just behind Deacon Blues. Of course I'd shuffle Dirty Work in the mix somewhere. I'm glad I'm not trying to rank SD sons, let alone all possible songs. I'll leave that to the expert.

This would rank pretty high on my list, too. I never listened to The Dan until college in the late 70s and this is the first one I heard. Then I went and got all the rest.
As for the top 5, no list would be complete without this: Spoiler

I can't imagine a bad song from Steely Dan.
