2016 getting another one in before the deadline (pun unintended..at first, anyway). The year has been piling up names from all categories..big name musicians, actors, etc. and has made sure to fill up the "character actor" basket as well. This guy was EVERYWHERE, especially during the 60's...Dr. Bombay on "Bewitched" and Col. Crittendon on "Hogan's Heroes" among his most notable TV roles.

I loved his portrayal of the bumbling and oblivious Col. Crittendon on Hogan's Heroes. I believe he is the only famous person to inspire the name of one of my Evil Squirrel's Nest comic characters (The vulpine bartender who occasionally shows up in my comics is named Bernard in his honor)....

Not including the children, I believe that Bernard Fox was the last living recurring cast member of "Bewitched".

Another actor I didn't realize was still alive.

If they remake Bewitched, will they call his character Dr. Mumbai?
