16. BOOKENDS-SIMON AND GARFUNKEL (1968)

OK, here's the thing: If you take the "best" songs from "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and place them against the "best" from this one,
then of course "Bridge" wins. BUT...when I compare my least favorite "Bridge" tracks with my least favorite tracks on "Bookends",
this gets the nod. So basically, taken as a whole, "Bookends" is a more satisfying listen for me. While it may not have anything like
"Bridge" or "The Boxer", it does have "America" and "Mrs. Robinson" and "Hazy Shade of Winter", etc. Not exactly garbage tunes either..
