It's Ladies Night...er...Day....well you get the point....on today's Boney 500 reveals:

36. THE CIRCLE GAME-JONI MITCHELL (1970)
Album: Ladies Of The Canyon

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are among the background voices in this sweet musing on the passing of time, and what it does to our
dreams and priorities along the way. There is a touch of sadness over the loss of some of those dreams as we grow older, but also a sense
that there are pleasures still possible in whatever time is left. The main takeaway for me is, time is gonna pass whether you like it or
not, so just accept it and try to enjoy the trip as much as you can. The whole thing is done in a style that is quite childlike in feel,
and is all the more effective for being so.

35. WUTHERING HEIGHTS-KATE BUSH (1978)
Album: The Kick Inside

Kate doesn't just sing her songs, she acts them as well. When I first heard this song, I was a little taken aback when she started singing.
Once I adjusted to it, it was pretty clear that this was a performance, really interpreting the lyrics, not just getting behind a microphone
and belting one out. Year later she re-recorded this for a greatest hits album, singing it "straight", and it had nowhere near the effect of
the original. This was a huge hit in England. MTV aired the video in its early days here in the States, but that was about it. I love the
original video as well...again, it's a total performance, including some pretty graceful dance movements.
