Last week's We Recommend segment of the Sports Today calendar thingy (my item is after the Planner and the web listings):

I have rarely watched Arena Football, to be honest. I just loved Ron's line from several years ago, and have waited for the right time to use it.

It just occurred to me Pea may have been asking WTF is Arena Football.
It is played on indoor fields, 50 yards long, and with walls at the sidelines. Eight players on the field. Rebound nets put missed field goals back into play. One receiver may start running before the ball is snapped, so he is deep into the route much earlier. There are other rule differences.
It is entertaining but not for purists, is what I was getting at.
