The Boney 500: Album #22

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Here's today's album.
22. SOUVENIRS-DAN FOGELBERG (1974)
He got a little too sappy for me as his career progressed, with a couple of exceptions..though with that sappiness came increasing
chart success. His second album, however, remains a favorite. There's some heartfelt ballads, to be sure, but for me they don't
cross the line into too much sugar-upset stomach territory. Add a bluegrass burner ("Morning Sky"), some easygoing country-pop
("Illinois"), and his first entry into the top 40 (the likable "Part Of The Plan") to some truly lovely ballads, and you've got
an album that gets popped into my cd player quite often.
