33. RUBBER SOUL-THE BEATLES (1965)

OK, so the U.S. version had "I've Just Seen A Face", which is a song I love, while the U.K. version (the version which is
now the standard version everywhere) did not. However, making up for the loss of that great track is the inclusion of "Nowhere Man",
"Drive My Car", and "If I Needed Someone" (originally available on the U.S. only album "Yesterday and Today"), so I'll take that
trade any day. Other classic tracks such as "Norwegian Wood", "You Won't See Me", and of course, "In My Life" are here. It's,
overall, their mellowest album, and, aside from a couple of clunker cuts, a pure pleasure to listen to. No You Tube video, use the link below to listen to the album...click on the arrow to the left of "Drive My Car", and it'll play the album in sequence.

Lost in the onslaught of political posts is this gem of an album. There's nothing about it I don't like except that I can't presently listen to the CD because it was in my car CD player when I replaced the unit and I haven't had a chance to power it up to eject the disk.

Good thing I moved it my iPod days earlier.

Which is too bad because this is an excellent album to serve frayed nerves with, regardless of one's political persusion.

Thanks for the endorsement, Mr. Vandalsir..
